The Best Book Ever

When I came from Cuba to Missouri 10 years ago, I had to learn to speak and write in english from scratch. This book helped me a lot. Basically it goes by chapters, and at the end of each chapter there is a test. I would kind of test myself, and if I did anything wrong on the test, I would go back to the chapter and study those concepts where I had the problems. I continued to do this until I got a 100% on the test. I just kept going and when I realized it, I had finished the book. I would try to do a chapter a day, and I would also try to practice the words I would learn everyday on the street.
I highly recommend it, very easy to follow, and you will have a lot of fun with it.

Great book to start your English lessons.

When I bought this book nearly five years ago, all I knew was many, many loosen words such as: house, car, water, etc. I didn't know how to form sentences and even listening to the movies was a hassle for me for I only was catching a word here an a word there. But when I bought the book in Puerto Rico for about five dollars, and I started reading it, it was so wonderful to see that I could understand the verbs and other essential things to make necessary understandable sentences and have at least, to start, some foundation before moving out to U.S.A.
I did not buy the book online, but knowing that this book has been so helpful to me and many people, is worth it to leave a five star review. Almost five years have past since I bought it, and I cannot certainly say that I know it all, but Ingles Basico A Ghio D not only gave me the foundation, the principles, the basics to learn English by the age of 30 but it also gave me the confidence to keep studying and learning more and more.

My mother loved it. In fact she had a very old one and gave it to her other daughter, so she kept asking me to get her another copy. I'm so glad I found it on Amazon.com
